On this website, at least 20 of the Do-It-Yourself pieces of research equipment that we have covered involve Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). We once suggested using EasyEDA to design and order these components, and were told over time that we were wrong, and that you should download KiCAD and use that instead.
But this is Lab On The Cheap–most things we show you already have a design. What’s the best way to print these PCBs on a budget?
Enter ManufacturingReports.com , with detailed reviews on several PCB manufacturers according to some amazingly thorough criteria. So far, for the cheapest solution ManufacturingReports recommends PCBWay. But we recommend reading their reviews to get an idea of what more expensive PCB manufacturers such as OSH Park might do better.
